Iberá Wetlands is the largest Provincial Natural Reserve in Argentina. This vast internationally significant marshland, protected since 1983, consists of swamps, streams, wetlands and over 60 lagoons; it hosts alligators, marsh deer, neotropical river otters, water hogs, brocket deer, boa constrictor and over 300 bird species many of which are in danger of extinction. In addition to its natural wealth, we must highlight the cultural ingredient: The Corrientes Gaucho, who follows the old traditions and customs, and gives us a chance to get to know these traditions and be in contact with his lifestyle.
